These may sound like no brainers but the consequences of inaction can be dire. This is particularly important to watch if you live in a home built in the 1970s or earlier, like many of the homes in Boise’s North End and the older parts of Nampa and Caldwell. During that era, builders ran many water lines on the exteriors of houses and did not insulate them to the same level we do today.
